An Aluminium Camlock Coupling is a quick-connect fitting used for connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipelines for fluid transfer without tools.

Construction

  1. Body

    • Cast or machined aluminium alloy for a balance of strength and light weight.

  2. Cam Arms

    • Stainless steel or aluminium cam levers pivot to lock the male adapter in place.

  3. Gasket / Seal

    • Standard NBR (Buna-N) gasket; optional EPDM, Viton®, PTFE for chemical resistance.

  4. Pins & Rings

    • Stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance.

  • Pressure Rating: Typically 150 psi (10 bar) for most sizes; varies with size and type.

  • Temperature Range: –20 °C to +80 °C (higher with special seals).
