Sewer Jetting Hose

Sewer Jetting Hose

Category: Thermoplastic Hose

Specifications
Details

A Sewer Jetting Hose is a high-pressure, abrasion-resistant hose designed for use with sewer and drain cleaning equipment.
It delivers water at very high pressure to break up blockages, flush debris, and restore full flow capacity in pipes.
Its construction ensures maximum flexibility for easy navigation through pipes while withstanding the wear from sand, silt, and other abrasive materials.

Construction

  1. Tube

    • Thermoplastic or synthetic rubber inner tube, resistant to water and cleaning chemicals.

  2. Reinforcement

    • One or two layers of high-tensile synthetic fiber braid for high working pressure.

  3. Cover

    • Polyurethane or abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber cover, highly resistant to wear, oil, and weathering.

    • Smooth or slightly textured surface for reduced friction in pipes.

  4. Fittings

    • Male or female threaded ends, quick couplers, or sewer jetting nozzles installed to suit the equipment.

Typical Specifications

  • Size Range: 1/4" to 1/2" ID (larger sizes available for special applications).

  • Working Pressure: Typically 2,500 – 4,000 psi (170 – 275 bar), some up to 5,000 psi.

  • Temperature Range: –40 °C to +60 °C (–40 °F to +140 °F).

  • Length Options: Standard coils from 50 m to 120 m, custom lengths available.

  • Safety Factor: 2.5:1 to 4:1 depending on manufacturer.

Applications

  • Municipal Sewer Cleaning – removing sludge, grease, roots, and debris.

  • Industrial Drain Maintenance – cleaning process plant drains and sumps.

  • Plumbing Services – residential and commercial drain jetting.

  • Construction Sites – flushing culverts, pipes, and water channels.

Advantages

  • Highly flexible for easy feeding into drains and around bends.

  • Abrasion-resistant cover for long service life.

  • Lightweight compared to wire-reinforced hoses, reducing operator fatigue.

  • Chemical-resistant for compatibility with most cleaning agents.

  • Smooth flow to maximize nozzle efficiency.
